Fans of Jack and Coke are sighing with relief! This popular cocktail is finally available in a ready-to-drink can thanks to Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola coming together.
Premixed cocktails were the fastest-growing spirits category in 2021. The Distilled Spirits Council stated that the U.S. Sales of premixed cocktails surged 42.3% to $1.6 billion compared with a year earlier. According to the trade group, cocktails in a can were stealing share from beer and hard seltzer.
Brown-Forman Corporation (Jack Daniel’s spirits company) and Coca-Cola's collaboration has long been overdue. Like other premixed cocktails, these two American icons are meeting the demands of consumers and providing them with a handy and convenient beverage for them to enjoy.
Brown-Forman has lead the ready-to-drink market for over 30 years. Both regular and sugar free versions of the Jack and Coke cocktail will be launched in 340ml cans containing an alcohol content of 5%. They will debut later this year in Mexico and then globally. Because both brands are so popular in Mexico the cocktail will be launched there first. The US launch is projected to be at some time in 2023.
