A foodie shared her simple but bizarrely useful trick to saving a dish that has too much salt in it.
Mom-of-one Vanessa, who goes by 'vnklove' on TikTok, revealed that a potato is all it takes to save your overly salted dinner!
She said that if she accidentally pours too much salt in a dish, she will add a peeled raw potato to absorb the excess. This works due to everyone’s favorite carb being rich in starch - a substance that readily absorbs salt.
