Sandy and Julie Cameron grew up on farms and always wanted to be farmers. Sandy trained as a vet and Julie worked as an intensive care nurse. With courage, they both took a chance and left their jobs to work as full time farmers in Meredith!
In 1991, traditional farming was in turmoil and to survive on the land they needed to be innovative and add value to their produce. That's when they began milking sheep and goats to make cheese and yogurts.
