Few food trends have captured our hearts like the delightful fusion of cookies and other baked goodies. Among these, one delicious innovation that we can all agree should never go away is stuffing cookies—or even better, cookie dough—into different treats. It's a genius idea that elevates a simple dessert into something extraordinary.

Enter the world of cookie-stuffed crescent rolls. While I may not be the first to dream up this delightful combination, it's hard to deny that these two were destined to meet. They share the same shelf in the grocery store, practically begging to be paired together. It’s almost as if Pillsbury intended for this culinary magic to happen.

Picture this: a buttery crescent roll enveloping a gooey chocolate chip cookie. A heavenly blend of flaky, buttery pastry and gooey, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip goodness. If you’re a fan of gooey cookies, you’re in for a treat. The process is incredibly simple, but the outcome is nothing short of sensational. We couldn’t even wait for them to cool completely, savoring them warm and gooey straight from the oven. If gooey isn’t your preference, a bit more baking time will give you a firmer cookie center, but around here, gooey is the name of the game.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Recipe from boysahoy

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls

  • 1 pkg (16 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (you will have plenty of leftover dough)

  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.  Lay crescent roll triangles out on a prepared baking sheet.

  2. Cut four 1/4″ slices of cookie dough.  Cut each slice in half.

  3. Place cookie dough at the wide end of the crescent triangle.  Fold the sides in over the cookie dough and roll the crescent up. Do this with each crescent roll.

  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

  5. Dust powdered sugar over the top just before serving.
