'Tis the season for fun, festive cheese boards, and Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is sharing the love this holiday season by hosting a cheese board contest.
Entrants must create a festive, holiday-themed cheese board using a minimum of two Wisconsin cheeses, but the more cheese the merrier! The grand prize winner will be awarded a year's supply of Wisconsin cheeses for themselves and a friend, and a 50 pound cheese donation to a food bank of their choosing. 6 finalists will win Cheese Prize Packs that include a custom cheese board, tote bag, mini cheese knife set, wax cheese wrap, wine cooler mugs and an assortment of Wisconsin cheeses. In addition, the judges will also choose 18 winners each week to receive a custom cheese board and mini cheese knife set.
To be considered for the awards, entrants must submit a solo photo of their cheese board creation, a photo of themselves with the cheese board, and a photo of all Wisconsin cheeses that are included on the board.
Cheese board aficionados can submit their cheese boards until December 16, 2021. The boards will be judged by a panel of cheese board experts: Marissa Mullen, best-selling author, influencer and founder of That Cheese Plate, Doug Clemons, also known as @CheeseTrayGay, and Alisha Norris Jones, resident cheesemonger at Marz Community Brewing in Chicago. Judges will look at the entrants use of Wisconsin cheese, board abundance, color and creativity when determining winners.
