The mayor of Flavortown has arrived in Iowa.
On Saturday, May 20, Guy Fieri hosted the ribbon cutting of his new restaurant, Guy Fieri's Kitchen + Bar at Harrah's Casino & Hotel.
This is Harrah's first celebrity restaurant, and Fieri chose this location for multiple reasons, the main one being the people.

What's On The Menu?
Fieri opened his first restaurant with Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas in 2014 and expanded to more than 75 around the world.
At his Kitchen + Bar restaurants, the menu features appetizers such as jalapeno pig poppers stuffed with andouille sausage and cheese and then wrapped in bacon, dynamite shrimp with a Thai sweet chili sauce, tuna poke won-tacos, and trash can nachos decked out in layers of Fieri’s Motley Que barbecue sauce, corn tortilla chips, house-smoked pork, super melty cheese, cheddar cheese, and chipotle barbecue sauce.
Much like Fieri’s personality, everything on the menu is big. Five burger options include a bacon mac and cheeseburger, a Ringer burger with an onion ring and bourbon brown sugar barbecue sauce, a burger that uses American-style Kobe beef with caramelized onion jam and smoked Gouda cheese, and a turkey and veggie version.
Fieri also showcased cocktails, from the barbecue loaded bloody Mary stuffed with bacon, a beef stick and pickled veggies to a caliente margarita that uses his Santo tequila that he produces with the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar. A mezquila passion fruit mule is new on the menu.
Who is Guy Fieri?
Fieri gained national attention in 2006 when he won the Food Network’s television competition show, “Next Food Network Star,” and went on to star on the Emmy-nominated “Guy’s Big Bite.”
His roster of television shows includes “Diners, Drive Ins & Dives,” “Guy’s Grocery Games,” “Tournament of Champions," “Guy’s Ranch Kitchen,” and his new series “Guy’s Ultimate Game Night.”
