What is your passion? Tell us about it.

A. Create the opportunity for all people to have access to good nutrition.


What inspired you to persue this passion? Tell us the story.

A. I was born in South Africa and have a first account view on the challenges people of the African continent are experiencing to get good nutrition. If one can bring positive change to some of these challenges it will be very satisfying.


What makes your creation unique?

A. We use special technology that can replicate the fibers of animal tissue by making use of plant-proteins.


Tell us about your creative process.

A. R&D started in 2018 and we took product to market in 2021. By making use of plant-protein and HME technology we are able to put forward products that can be used in all food channels. Eg, Food Manufacturing, Food Distribution, Food Service and Retail.


Who is your audience? How do you engage them?

A. Any Food Company in the eco-system that would like to add a high quality sustainable alternative protein to the existing category of products. We engage with the decison makers at these companies through networking events and other B2B matchmaking platforms.


What experience does your passion create? What can recipients expect?

A. A great tasting alternative source of protein that can be used in your favorite meals which is accessible and affordable.


Where can your creations be found?

A. Currenlty only in South Africa at all major retailers and some food service outlets such as Vida-E Cafe, Nando's and Hudsons.


What is next?

A. International expansion which will give us scale to achieve better price points which will allow us in the long run to come up with solutions to provide affordable protein to communities in Africa.
