Warm, cheesy spinach artichoke dip is a classic comfort food for many. Roth Cheese is channeling the flavors of this fan-favorite dip in their newest cheese: Spinach Artichoke Gouda.
This savory, creamy gouda was chosen by consumers in Roth's "Choose our Next Cheese" crowd-sourcing campaign in November 2020. Spinach Artichoke received the most votes among 3 other contenders: Chimichurri, Hot Honey, and Buffalo Ranch. Each vote in the contest counted as one entry towards winning a whole wheel of the winning flavor!
“Taking a classic taste like Spinach Artichoke, and turning it into a cheese, is a great way to get creative with new recipes to reimagine the flavor,” said Roth cheesemaker Madeline Kuhn. “The rich and savory flavor will make you feel the comfort of Spinach Artichoke dip.” She spent several months replicating the flavor of Spinach Artichoke dip in this Gouda.
