Subway Introduces the Ultimate Sweet Treat: The Footlong Cookie!

Subway, renowned for its iconic footlong sandwiches, is about to sweeten the deal with a delightful twist. In early 2024, brace yourselves for the introduction of footlong chocolate chip cookies as a permanent addition to the menu. Imagine sinking your teeth into a 12-inch version of Subway's beloved cookie, available at all restaurant locations nationwide.

Before the grand national rollout, mark your calendars for December 4, National Cookie Day, when you can get a sneak peek of this giant cookie at select Subway locations. The participating spots, temporarily transformed into "Cookieway" pop-ups for the day, include:

  • Chicago: 604 S Wabash Ave., Suite D, Chicago, Ill. 60605

  • Dallas: 1222 Commerce Street, Suite 150, Dallas, Texas 75202

  • Miami: 2795 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, Fla. 33140

  • New York City: 545 8 Ave., New York, N.Y. 10018

(According to PR Newswire)

On this special day, these restaurants will be offering the footlong chocolate chip cookie with the purchase of any sub between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

While footlong cookies may sound like a novel addition, Subway dabbled in this sweet innovation last year, albeit for just one day—National Cookie Day, to be precise. The cookies made their debut in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood at Subway's Calle Ocho location, transformed into a pop-up exclusively dedicated to cookies. Customers were treated to four sub-inspired cookies adorned with toppings ranging from cookie chunks and sprinkles to potato chips and dill pickles. Notably, classic chocolate chip cookies weren't on the initial menu.

Following the resounding success of the limited-time cookie rollout, with the treats selling out in under two hours, Subway's culinary team has spent the past year perfecting the footlong version of its chocolate chip cookie. Get ready to indulge in a cookie experience like never before!
