The Girl Scout Cookie Flavor That Is Selling for Over $100 a Box

Girl Scout Cookie season is in full swing, and Girl Scouts' newest cookie, Raspberry Rally, is causing quite an uproar.

For the 2023 cookie season, Girl Scouts debuted a brand new flavor: "Raspberry Rally™, [a] thin, crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in chocolaty coating". It was also announced that Raspberry Rally is an online exclusive cookie, meaning that one must order it online and have it shipped directly to their home.

Within just hours of the launch, Raspberry Rally completely sold out. Resales of the coveted cookie began popping up on sites such as eBay for around $100 a box, and up to $199.97 a box!

A Girl Scouts spokesperson urged customers to not purchase the cookies resale, reminding consumers that the proceeds from the cookie sales are critical to funding Girl Scout troop activities, and that purchasing the cookies from resale sites takes opportunities away from the scouts. The spokesperson told Insider, “We encourage cookie customers to find a local booth to try different flavors if their first choice isn’t available, or donate to their local council’s cookie donation program to support the largest girl-led entrepreneurship program in the world".

At the time of writing this article, there has been no word whether Girl Scouts will restock Raspberry Rally.
