In some Indian languages, the name of the paisley pattern is even called mango. In Pakistan, paisley is called a "carrey" design, which means mango seed. In Punjabi, it's called "ambi," which is derived from the word "amb" meaning mango.

Next time you see a paisley printed bag or bandana, remember that mangos inspired the beautiful pattern!
